Thonet has been producing furniture for over 200 years and is one of the oldest furniture manufacturers in the world. Their famous bentwood chair is an icon and is still considered one of the most successful industrial products ever. The development of modern tubular steel furniture is also closely linked to Thonet and marks a significant milestone in design history. In the 1930s, the company was the world's largest producer of this new type of furniture, which was designed by well-known architects such as Marcel Breuer, Mart Stam, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Le Corbusier and Charlotte Perriand. The company also develops its own designs, such as the elegant and minimalist B20 B/1 coffee table, a design from 2009. The model offered in pure white was an exhibition model and is in good condition with signs of wear.
