Set of four chrome-plated dining chairs “Dialogo” by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for BundB Italia, 1970s.
The Dialogue model, also known in later production as the Dessau model (or Dialogue Dessau), with its distinctive cantilevered base and integrated armrests, demonstrates the Scarpa duo's commitment to form and function. The chairs feature a carefully crafted back and seat in smooth black molded plastic, adding a touch of sophistication to the classic Bauhaus aesthetic.
Dialogo = Dialogue, the dialogue between old and new, between different materials and styles and the dialogue between industrial functionality and the elegance of forms.
Sold as a set of four chairs.
The chairs are in good vintage condition with some expected signs of age and use. The black seat and backrest have some surface scratches as seen in the photos. Chrome is in good condition with minor signs of age and less visible patina. One original screw on the backrest was missing and has been replaced with a custom made copy. No cracks and structurally excellent.
Will be shipped in four separate packages.

All of our items are thoroughly cleaned and carefully packaged for shipping.
It is very important to us that the packaging is of the same high quality standard as the item purchased. Depending on the fragility of the item, packaging may be in a 5 or 7 layer cardboard box or wooden crate. Larger items may need to be shipped in crates with pallets. We create custom packages to save unnecessary packaging waste and filler. We only use recyclable materials.
