Italy, 1970s. Step into the future with this remarkable Italian space-age style side table and magazine holder designed in the 1970s by famous Italian designer Marco Zanuso. Made from smooth black plastic, this side table has two sections where you can place magazines or even vinyl records. The tabletop of this space-age piece can also be used for magazines, books or drinks. This beautiful side table is equipped with casters so you can move it around your space with ease, making redecorating and rearranging a breeze. Marco Zanuso was born in Milan, Italy on May 14, 1916. He was one of a group of Italian designers from Milan who coined the international term “good design” in the post-war years. His prolific career spanned six decades, and during that time his interest in rational design to solve problems allowed him to push boundaries in urban planning, architecture and product design. His approach to European "good design" has some peculiarities and he said his "curiosity" drove his "constant search for new discoveries".
