Italy 1980s Stunning postmodern glossy lacquered red coffee table with a base in the shape of a woman's body and a glass tabletop. This unique table is an absolute eye-catcher due to its special shape. The base of the table made of epoxy resin is reminiscent of a beautifully curved female body. The special high-gloss lacquer in a beautiful red further emphasizes the curved shapes. The glass tabletop gives the table a certain lightness. The shape and color of the table are absolutely typical of the 80s era. Postmodern design was a movement that only lasted for a short time in the early 80s, but whose designers are still very recognized today. Postmodern furniture design wanted to embrace everything eye-catching, unconventional and colorful. Some famous Italian designers are, for example, Alessandro Mendini or Ettore Sottsass.
