Rare find
German rangefinder camera for 135mm film (negative format 24 x 36 mm).
- built from 1954 to 1957 in 136,000 units.
Technical data:
-Lens with Retina C bayonet (interchangeable front lens): here a Schneider-Xenon 1:2.8/50 mm, also available with Rodenstock-Heligon 1:2.8/50 mm, no. 5204698.
- Viewfinder with illuminated frame and rangefinder.
- Mechanical central shutter Synchro-Compur (B, 1-1/500 second). Clip-on filter 32 mm, screw-on filter 29.5 x 0.4 mm.
Basically, the camera has the same features as the Ib model. In addition, there is a built-in coupled rangefinder and the interchangeable Retina lenses. The front part of the six-lens standard lens is interchangeable. A Curtar-Xenon C or a Heligon C (1:4/35 mm or 1:5.6/35 mm) is available as a wide-angle lens and a Longar-Xenon C or Heligon C with 1:4/80 mm as a telephoto lens. Only Schneider lens attachments can be used on the Schneider-Xenon or Rodenstock attachments on the Rodenstock-Heligon.
An original leather camera bag is included with the item.
