With the aim of freeing the "ugly, confusing, restless world" from the "slum of legs" on chairs and tables, the Finnish architect and designer Eero Saarinen designed the Pedestal Collection within five years. Consisting of chairs, armchairs, stools, tables and side tables, these revolutionary designed pieces of furniture were characterized by a single, circular base and the appearance as if they were made from a single piece. In 1958, the collection was launched under license from Knoll International. These Tulip stools with blue fabric seat cushions have been reupholstered and covered. They are in very good condition with slight signs of wear. The price is per piece.
