The lounger was designed by American designer Richard Schultz on behalf of Florence Knoll. She wanted outdoor furniture that could withstand the damp, corrosive ocean wind. The furniture was introduced in March 1966 and was named after that year. The collection is considered the first modern outdoor furniture collection. The black loungers have an adjustable backrest and castors that make it easier to move the loungers. They are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and are in good to very good condition. The price is for one piece, including the original cushion.
