In order to be able to offer broad sections of the population simply constructed and practical furniture made of inexpensive solid wood in the post-war years, the Zurich designer Jacob Müller founded the Wohnhilfe cooperative in 1945 together with master carpenters from eastern Switzerland. Soon afterwards, in addition to Müller's designs, those by other designers were also produced by Wohnhilfe. These were characterized above all by the fact that they could be taken apart and reassembled by the customers themselves. These chairs were designed by Jacob Müller in 1945 and are in good condition and have been restored. The price refers to one chair.
