Italy, 1970s. Exceptional dining or coffee table with a stunning brass and chrome base in Hollywood Regency style, designed by Renato Cevi and manufactured by Italian manufacturer Banci Firenze. The table top is made from an impressive solid glass top. The table base is made from a wide, upwardly curved frame. The frame is made from brass and chrome parts, which further accentuates the beautiful curved shape. The frame is held at the bottom and top by two round pieces made from chrome. Hollywood Regency emerged from Hollywood's Golden Age in the 1930s and has much in common with mid-century modern in the silhouettes and clean lines. But the details, such as pattern and color, are inspired by Art Deco. Place of Origin: Italy Period: 1970 - 1979 Date of Manufacture: Circa 1970.
