France, 1970s. Pretty yellow French carafe set with 5 mugs in beautifully glazed ceramic, signed mc, from the 70s. This type of glazed ceramic is called faience, that is, tin-glazed and enamelled earthenware, which first appeared in France in the 16th century. It consists of a jug (height 30 cm, diameter 10 cm) and 5 mugs (height 14 cm, diameter 7 cm). In very good condition with original label. A bright mustard yellow color highlighted by a brown line with a slender shape. To be used in the kitchen or as an absolute eye-catcher on a shelf. Place of origin: France. Date of manufacture: 1970s. Period: 1970-1979.
