With a strong sense of aesthetics, Ulf Brøste brought small pieces of furniture, home accessories, decorations and gift items back from his travels around the world. Inspired by the success of the Danish Modern Design movement, he decided to support up-and-coming talents in production and sales in addition to his own carefully selected collections and founded the company Broste in 1955. The elegant daybed, designed by OX Design for Broste, is made of high-quality core leather and is in good vintage condition with a beautiful patina.
