Original BAILKE stool from the mid-20th century.
This specimen is a handmade one-of-a-kind piece and was carved from a single block. The spider motif has a special meaning in the African country of Cameroon, because the ground spider that lives there lives underground and is therefore closer to its ancestors than we humans are. The motif can be found as a pattern in the basic structure of this stool or side table.
The vintage design object is in its original condition and may show signs of wear.
