Beautiful bowl made of alexandrite / neodymium glass.
This means that a substance has been added to the glass that absorbs the yellow light.
In daylight or normal lighting the object is lilac/pink, in cold light (e.g. fluorescent tubes and the like) the object is a shade of violet to light blue.
Beautiful piece from Murano in a rare design around 1950/1960. Very good workmanship.
