A classic M'rirt carpet is knotted in the region of the same name, which lies in the northwestern foothills of the Middle Atlas. It is characterized by a particularly high density and incomparable softness. Since significantly more material (sheep's wool) is used in the production of a M'rirt carpet than in the production of a Beni Ourains, it is even heavier, more massive, more lush, more massive - in a wonderfully cozy way. The fluffy carpets are ideal for rooms where you walk barefoot and are therefore an excellent choice for bedrooms, living rooms and children's rooms. Because it is made by hand, each carpet is unique: Imperfections make the piece unique and set it apart from an industrially manufactured product as an original. The vertical fold that can be seen in the product image is caused by the storage of the carpet - as soon as it is laid out, this disappears after a few days.
