Eine der beliebtesten Designikonen, der Cone-Stuhl, wurde 1958 von Verner Panton entworfen und ursprünglich als Teil einer kompletten Neugestaltung des Interieurs des Restaurants Kom Igen entworfen. Der Sessel verdankt seinen Namen seiner einfachen, konischen Form mit anmutigen Kurven.
