Gio Ponti, Italian architect, designer and co-founder of Fontana Arte, designed the functional Pirellone floor lamp in 1967. The floor lamp consists of a slim, elliptical column supported by a stylish metal base. The two curved glasses are held together by metal elements at the base and at the top; The secret of this simple structure lies in the use of special impact-resistant glass. The floor lamp has two dimmable light sources, one is located at the top of the lamp and directs its light beam towards the ceiling. The second, larger light source, which is distributed across the entire lamp, provides pleasant, diffuse light. The floor lamp is in good to very good condition.
