Spanish designer and architect Patricia Urquiola began her career as an assistant to Achille Castiglioni and worked with renowned designers such as Vico Magistretti. In 2001 she founded her own studio specializing in product design, interior design and architecture. Since then she has designed for prestigious companies such as Cassina, Flos and BundB Italia. For the latter she designed the Husk collection in 2011. This series is a tribute to softness and invites you to relax with generous, extra-soft cushions. The hard shell is made of Hirek, a special plastic made from recycled and recyclable polymers. The seat cushion extends upwards to form not only a comfortable seat but also a pleasant headrest. This is an armchair and an ottoman in black leather. Both are in very good condition with slight signs of wear.
