Frank O. Gehry, Canadian architect and designer, is known for his innovative designs, which often use unusual materials in novel ways. His architecture is characterized by irregular, curved shapes and asymmetrical structures. Similar to his architecture, his furniture is often sculptural and has organic, flowing forms. A notable example of this is his "Easy Edges" furniture series from 1972, which gave the everyday material cardboard a whole new aesthetic dimension. Initially produced in small editions by a New York-based company, Vitra took over the production of four models in 1986. The Wiggle stool from this series is a robust and versatile piece of furniture that can be used both as a stool and as a practical side table. The stool on offer is in very good condition.
