Thonet has been producing furniture for over 200 years and is one of the oldest furniture manufacturers in the world. Their famous bentwood chair is an icon and is still considered one of the most successful industrial products ever. The development of modern tubular steel furniture is also closely linked to Thonet and marks a significant milestone in design history. In the 1930s, the company was the world's largest producer of this new type of furniture, which was designed by well-known architects such as Marcel Breuer, Mart Stam, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Le Corbusier and Charlotte Pérriand. A number of in-house designs were also created, such as the shapely and elegant B 108 console table, a design from 1930/31. The simple console table is timeless and versatile; it is ideal for use in the entrance area or in the living room or office. This is an almost new exhibition model in red.
