Seller's description
This rare tea trolley made of birch plywood, which was only produced in small numbers, dates from the 1930s/1940s and is fully functional. It was designed by Alvar Aalto, the most important Finnish architect and furniture designer of the 20th century, and produced by the Swiss furniture factory Horgenglarus for home supplies. The wicker basket can be removed from the holder. The tea trolley is in beautiful vintage condition with signs of wear consistent with age.
