The seat and backrest consist of two elegantly shaped black plastic shells made of polypropylene, which offer both comfort and aesthetics. Don Albinson, a visionary designer, moved with his family to southeastern Pennsylvania in 1964 and took on the prestigious position of Design Director at Knoll International in East Greenville. In this role, he completed numerous ambitious projects and created the legendary 1601 stacking chair. Whether in the office, in the conference room or as a stylish addition to your home – this classic chair makes a clear design statement while offering incomparable comfort.
