One of the great names in 20th century Italian design and architecture, Angelo Mangiarotti left a lasting impact on the world of design with his unique style and innovative approach. His works span a wide range from architecture to furniture and industrial products. Mangiarotti was an advocate of functionality and minimalist aesthetics, often using materials in their purest form. A notable example of this is Mangiarotti's 1969 design M1 - a table made entirely of marble. The striking feature of this design is the central table base with a hyperboloid section that becomes wider at the base and narrower towards the top. The offered table with sand beige colored marble is in good condition with signs of wear and a small damage to the varnish.
