The wall mask was produced in the 1930s by Goebel and Bieber. Kurt Goebel's ceramics are characterized by their pasty coloring and their somewhat coarser surface structure. This gives the wall mask the impression that it was hand-formed. The clearly visible company logo, the model number 257 and the words “Made in Vienna” can be read.
Kurt Goebel was a ceramic artist at Goldscheider in the early 1930s. Together with Erna Bieber, he founded the ceramics factory Goebel and Bieber.
