The French architect and furniture designer Charlotte Perriand, together with Le Corbusier and his cousin Pierre Jeanneret, designed a series of furniture from 1927 onwards that represents the furniture design of classical modernism like no other. Initially produced under license by various manufacturers, the rights to the designs belong to of the LC series since 1965 by the Italian furniture manufacturer Cassina. These include some of the unmistakable, cubic-edged LC3 armchair. This is the Méridienne model, which, in contrast to the classic LC3 armchair, only has one armrest. This makes the armchair appear open and inviting and can also be used as a comfortable lounger in combination with the LC2 Ottoman. This is an armchair with down filling and newer fabric covers, as these were replaced by the previous owner. The armchair is in good to very good condition.
