"I wanted to give the lounge chair the warm, comfortable look of a well-worn baseball glove," Charles is said to have said about the lounge chair that the American designer couple Charles and Ray Eames designed for Herman Miller in 1956. Shortly afterwards, the Swiss company Vitra also began production. This version of the design classic comes from a Vitra production and is made of brown leather and rosewood. The lounge chair and ottoman offered in the "classic mass" version date from the 1960s to early 1970s. The wooden shell of the armchair has been professionally restored and repainted. Both objects are in good to very good vintage condition. The price is for the lounge chair including the ottoman.
