The brothers Achille and Pier Castiglioni became known for reassembling existing products in surprising ways and, thanks to their simple, functional designs, are among the most important designers of the Italian post-war period. After the early death of his brother, Achille Castiglioni designed mostly on his own. In 1969 he designed the simple "KD6 Grande" ceiling light for Kartell, which creates a pleasant atmosphere with its diffuse light. The light is in good to very good condition.
