The Swiss furniture brand WOGG was founded in 1983 by cousins Willi Gläser and Otto Gläser; they formed the brand name WOGG from their initials WG and OG.
\nFrom the beginning, they wanted to surprise people with exciting and innovative products; thanks to the new, previously unknown manufacturing processes such as bending hard and durable high-pressure laminate (HPL), very fine furniture pieces with previously unknown strength were suddenly created. This inspired well-known designers such as Gerd Lange, Ubald Klug and Hans Eichenberger to collaborate right from the start. Over the years, WOGG was able to inspire many other Swiss designers to collaborate, such as Robert and Trix Haussmann, Alfredo Häberli, Christophe Marchand and Frédéric Dedelley. The latter designed this simple folding screen for WOGG in 2006. This is an exhibition model in natural aluminum. It is in mint condition with minimal signs of wear.
