Hans J. Wegner is one of the most important Danish designers of the 20th century. He became particularly famous for his seating furniture; He designed more than 500 different models, most of the designs were purely wooden chairs. In the 1950s he designed the GE290 armchair and the GE290 sofa for Getama. This sofa consists of a solid oak frame and blue seat cushions. The sofa has been professionally reupholstered and is in very good condition with signs of wear on the armrests. Matching the GE290 sofa, we also offer the GE290 armchair and the GE290 armchair as a high-back chair.
