Dieter Wäckerlin is considered one of the most important Swiss interior architects and designers of the 20th century and, with his company Idealheim, shaped Swiss living culture from 1950 to 1980. After completing his carpentry apprenticeship and his commercial diploma, he took over his father's carpentry business and produced his own designs. His designs are characterized by the cubic shape - including this model. The sideboard impresses with its clear, simple, calm shape. Together with the interior design, it creates the perfect combination of aesthetic function and practical function. This teak sideboard with seagrass sliding doors is in good to very good condition with slight signs of wear. The compartment, which opens from the top, is perfect for a record player, and a socket is also built in. The price refers to the sideboard without a turntable.
