The Swiss furniture brand WOGG was founded in 1983 by cousins Willi Glasses and Otto Glasses; They formed the brand name WOGG from their initials WG and OG. Right from the start they wanted to surprise with exciting and innovative products; Thanks to the new, as yet unknown manufacturing processes such as the bending of hard and durable high-pressure laminate (HPL), very fine furniture parts with previously unknown strength were suddenly created. This inspired well-known designers such as Gerd Lange, Ubald Klug and Hans Eichenberger to collaborate in the first hour. Over the years, WOGG has been able to inspire many other designers, such as Robert and Trix Haussmann, Alfredo Häberli, Atelier d'Oï and Buratti Architetti, to collaborate. The latter designed the simple WOGG 75 sideboard, which has an asymmetrically arranged, open box, which forms the stop for the roll front made of aluminum slats. This is a prototype in jet black with a red box. The sideboard is in mint condition with minimal signs of wear.
