With his design of the 1227 desk lamp, George Carwardine created a true icon of light. When he developed an innovative spring formula, he created a revolutionary design for an articulated lamp that combined ultimate flexibility with perfect stability. The design from the 1930s is now considered a classic of British design. The product range has been continuously expanded over time. As an impressive continuation, the Giant 1227 floor lamp was originally designed on behalf of the Roald Dahl Museum. This is a maxi version of the design classic. The black floor lamp is in very good condition with slight signs of wear.
