"Conserve instead of restore"


As a master carpenter with a one-year internship at a renowned furniture restorer, it is a matter of course for me to check all items for their
to check function.
All items available in the shop are originals and you can tell that from the outside. They are all brought into a clean, ready-to-live-in condition.
When restoring, I attach great importance to preserving the original patina.
Small scratches or dull spots in the varnish are unavoidable on original furniture of this age and give it the desired look.
I try to improve the preservation conditions by intervening as little as possible on the object and thus preserve its unique charm.
